Acceptance of Conditions

Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these and any other applicable terms and conditions.

Promotional Period and Method of Entry

The Promoter of this competition is Mercedes-Benz NZ Ltd.
The promotional period for the competition commences on 17th February 2011 and closes at 5pm 31st December 2011.

To qualify for the prize draw, you must purchase and pay for either a Freightliner Coronado or Freightliner Coronado SD during the Promotional Period.

Entry into the prize draw is automatic upon receipt of the purchase payment.

The winner will be notified by Mercedes-Benz NZ Ltd or their Dealership once the prize draw has been made, via a call to the telephone number on the purchase documentation.

Prizes and Conditions

One red Harley-Davidson 2010 Softail Fat Boy® with Screamin’ Eagle® Street Performance Slip on Mufflers will be given away.

The recommended retail price of the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy and including the Screamin’ Eagle mufflers is $ 33,045.00 incl GST.

The Harley-Davidson motorbike will be delivered to the winner at the address as agreed to between Mercedes-Benz NZ Ltd, its dealership and the relevant winner. The Harley-Davidson prize may have been driven for a small number of kilometres by Mercedes-Benz to allow it to be displayed in the dealerships and for other purposes related to this competition.

The Harley-Davidson motorbike will have current registration, warrant of fitness and first petrol fill.

The winner of the Harley-Davidson motorbike agrees to sign all documents required to register the motorbike in their name. The winner is required to pay all costs associated with insurance for the motorbike once it has been collected from the Freightliner dealership.

Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or negotiable and is not redeemable for cash.

Subject to any applicable law that cannot be excluded, Mercedes-Benz NZ Ltd is not responsible or liable for any loss suffered by any entrant in the event that the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond its control.

Eligibility

To be eligible to win the Harley-Davidson prize you must have purchased and paid for a Freightliner Coronado or Freightliner Coronado SD before 5pm 31st December 2011.

Delivery of the purchased truck is not required before the competition’s closing date providing said truck has been paid for in full by the 31st December 2011.
The entry must be made by an individual and that individual must be aged 18 years or over.

The winner consents to Mercedes-Benz use of their name, address and image for publicity and promotional purposes and make him or herself available for publicity photographs.

Mercedes-Benz reserves the right to request that winners provide proof of identity or age.

Staff of participating companies or their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

Liability

Neither Mercedes-Benz NZ Ltd, its Dealerships nor any other person or party associated with this competition shall be liable for: (a) any loss or damage whatsoever incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss and including loss caused by negligence) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this competition or the use or acceptance of the prize offered except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. (b) errors resulting from computer hardware, software or telecommunications errors or failure. (c) fraudulent entry into or participation in this competition.

In the event of a dispute concerning any aspect of the competition including eligibility the decision of Mercedes-Benz NZ Ltd will be final. No correspondence concerning any decision made by Mercedes-Benz NZ Ltd will be entered into

All entries remain the property of Mercedes-Benz NZ Ltd. All information will be collected and stored by Mercedes-Benz in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. You have the right to access your personal information and request correction of any errors in it pursuant to the Privacy Act 1993. Mercedes-Benz NZ Ltd may use entrants' personal information from entries to conduct the promotion and for their own future promotional and publicity purposes in accordance with standard terms and conditions. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described above.
